Candice Briddell
Managing Partner, Co-Owner
Candice Briddell, Managing Partner and Co-Owner, has worked within the fundraising and marketing industry for nearly twenty years and has been a part of the MINDset team for over a decade. Prior to that, she was integral in the retention marketing program at AOL.
Throughout her professional tenure, she is proud to have served a multitude of clients including: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, National Jewish Health, LIVESTRONG, Amnesty International, Defenders of Wildlife, The Washington National Cathedral and The Children’s Inn at NIH.
Passionate about data-driven analysis, she helps push her clients to think out of the box and break through old plateaus to reach new fundraising results and benchmarks that have taken many programs beyond all original measures of success. Candice has always prided herself on helping her clients create and leverage multi-channel strategies that maximize revenue, donor engagement and organizational brand power. She understands the need for comprehensive systems to address internal organizational and external environmental challenges, and has created dynamic approaches to help handle these needs.
Erica O'Brien
Managing Partner, Co-Owner
Erica O’Brien, Managing Partner and Co-Owner, has worked within the marketing and non-profit industry for nearly twenty years. Before joining the MINDset team, she worked at Chapman Cubine & Hussey for nearly a decade, where she served as Principal & Senior Vice President.
Throughout her professional tenure, she is proud to have served a multitude of clients including: AARP and AARP Foundation, Volunteers of America Chesapeake, the Democratic National Committee, The World Jewish Congress, Defenders of Wildlife, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Disabled American Veterans, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Smithsonian.

David Jorgensen
Senior Vice President, Analytics & Reporting
Dave is a master analyst and brings with him over 26 years of experience in both nonprofits and direct response agencies. His wide range of expertise includes advanced data analysis, budgeting, planning, client services and program management. Dave has a knack for bridging the gap between the art of fundraising and the science of data, working well with staff at every level of an organization.
Dave’s philosophy is simple – answer why. Why did a campaign drop in performance year over year? Why are certain segments underperforming? Dave believes data is at the heart of any organization's success. With a passion for digging deep, Dave drills into results to uncover and exploit the most promising opportunities. Working with the account teams, he strives to find the proper balance of audience and offer to continuously improve our clients direct response program.
Prior to joining MINDset, Dave has worked with several organizations, analyzing programs to include membership, publications, monthly giving, mid-level, premium focused, on-line, DRTV and canvassing. A short-list of his clients include Alley Cat Allies, Amnesty International USA, Heifer Project International, City Harvest, Conquer Cancer, Habitat for Humanity, US Holocaust Museum, Eternal Word Television Network, and World Wildlife Fund, to name a few.
Courtney Lewis
Vice President, Client Services
Courtney Lewis has been in the direct marketing industry for more than 14 years and has spent that time developing complex, client-specific, multichannel direct marketing strategies for some of the country’s largest and most successful brands. As a disciplined strategist, she has a strong, analytical foundation with a solid creative eye that aids in the design of unique, exciting, and successful marketing campaigns.
In addition to her work in the industry, Courtney is also the president of the Direct Marketing Association of Washington Education Foundation and chairs the Collegiate MAXI committee. Through this position, she works to educate college students about how they can make a difference in the world by establishing a career in direct marketing.
